878 Tennis Top & Shorts, Bat & Ball, Headband, Trainers

Modelled by my own American Girl doll, here is a sporty tennis set with a top, shorts, bat & ball, headband and matching trainers.

The square-necked tunic top is in a white flowered cotton: it closes at the back with Velcro and is bound at the hem with green and white striped fabric. It has a pennant shaped real pocket in green and white stripe.

The shorts are in the same fabric as the top, they have an elasticated waist and green and white sewn into the side seams.

The headband is made from the same fabric as the set and is elasticated at the back.

The set includes a pair of trainers suitable for 18” vinyl play dolls, boy or girl. They fasten with white laces and the main part is green canvas.

The finishing touch is a green plastic bat or racket and a yellow ball on thin elastic. Just right for sunny afternoons playing tennis or a dish of strawberries and cream at Wimbledon.

The doll is NOT included.
